David “Ducky” Webber has had an exceptional golf career that has spanned over 35 years and still continues to impress. So far Webber has claimed two Nova Scotia Amateur titles, two Nova Scotia Mid-Amateur titles, several Nova Scotia Golfer of the Year awards, and that is just provincially. On the national scene, “Ducky” has captured two Individual Canadian Championships including the 2004 Canadian Senior Title. That same year, he also led the Nova Scotia Senior Team to their first ever Canadian Team Title.

Perhaps his most exciting victory came internationally in 1975. Webber placed in the top ten at the Canadian Amateurs and earned himself a spot on the Canadian team to play in the Commonwealth Team Matches in South Africa. The Canadian team won the championship playing against highly skilled teams including Great Britain, with the renowned Nick Faldo. Webber delivered the win through a tough match that was on the final day of the tournament. David “Ducky” Webber’s career has boasted many wins, and will most likely include many more in the future.
