April 18, 1950, was a banner night for Queen Elizabeth High School of Halifax. Before a standing-room-only crowd at Dalhousie Gym, QEH upended Montreal YMCA 53-49 in the second game of a two-game total-point series to win the Canadian Juvenile basketball championship. With this win, QEH completed an undefeated Juvenile and Headmaster’s season.
