Bud Thorbourne is a legend in the development of softball on Nova Scotia’s South Shore. In Liverpool, he coached championship teams in senior, intermediate, and ladies divisions from 1959 through 1967. One of these teams was the Liverpool Jets, who were provincial and Maritime champions in 1965, 1966, and 1967.
