Details:
Roy Isnor was a highly-praised left-handed baseball pitcher. He played for the Halifax Crescents baseball team in 1909 and with his terrific speed and great control of the ball, was good enough to turn pro in 1911 with the Nova Scotia Professional League. When the league disbanded in 1914, Roy returned to playing semi-professional baseball with the Halifax Crescents until the early 1920’s.
His abilities made him a consistent pitcher against the strong imports and professional players of rival clubs. Roy Isnor is an Original Nova Scotia Sport Hall of Fame Inductee.
