FACILITY & MUSEUM

The Nova Scotia Sport Hall of Fame is currently closed while we rebuild. The Hall of Fame museum will be returning to its location at 1800 Argyle Street, adjacent to the Scotiabank Centre! We look forward to welcoming you again soon.

While our brand-new, bigger and better facility is under construction, we will continue to offer information online and programming in the community. Please check back for updates.

On Monday, June 24, 2024, the Nova Scotia Sport Hall of Fame and The Province of Nova Scotia jointly announced that the Hall of Fame will receive $2.5 million from the Province for significant facility upgrades. The full media release from this announcement can be found here.

The renovated Nova Scotia Sport Hall of Fame facility will include new exhibits celebrating our inductees and rich sport heritage. In addition to the very generous support of The Province of Nova Scotia, we would like to acknowledge the Government of Canada’s support, as well as the Halifax Regional Municipality’s support, for the creation and construction of new exhibits, particularly an exhibit celebrating the sport contributions of historically underrepresented groups. We are pleased that the redesigned facility will also have vast improvements for accessibility, and the Nova Scotia Sport Hall of Fame recognizes the support of the Province of Nova Scotia and the Government of Canada in assisting with the funding of accessible amenities within the museum.
