Barry Shakespeare of Halifax was the Nova Scotia Junior Tennis Champion in 1959-62, 1965-67 and again in 1969. Additionally, he was the Canadian Junior Tennis Champion in 1960-63 and 1965. He was a member of the Canada’s Junior Davis Cup Team in 1963. He was a Canadian representative 17 times in international play. He was the Head Coach of the University of Mississippi tennis team in 1970 and 1971.
Mr. Shakespeare will be inducted posthumously.
Barry passed away on April 14th, 2003.
