Dannie Seaman was a shining light for the South Shore as he played, coached, managed, sponsored and supported sport for most of his 59 years. Seaman coached junior and intermediate baseball teams from the 1930’s through the 1970’s. He developed the Liverpool Regional High School Basketball Festival in 1966 and guided it until his death in 1973. It remains a major tourney today. He was a prominent basketball official, handling all types of competition – from minor to intercollegiate.
