Frank Condon was one of Nova Scotia’s best known professional hockey stars in the early 1900’s. Condon played hockey with his brother Jack for the Halifax Crescents from 1907 to 1909. In 1907, the Crescents beat the North Sydney Victorias for the Nova Scotia Senior Championship.

In 1909, Condon played again for the Crescents the year and they regained the Maritime Championship title by defeating the Wanderers 6-2.

Condon served in the First World War with the 10th Siege Battery. On his return from overseas, he and his brother Jack owned and operated a clothing business called Condon’s Ltd.

Condon was many things including a well-known Halifax businessman, sportsman, and also a member of the Holy Name Society and of St. Thomas Aquinas Parish. Frank Condon passed away on May 26, 1961, in Halifax.
