Details:

Jack Condon was from Halifax, Nova Scotia. He and his brother Frank were two of the Halifax Crescents’ greatest hockey players in the early 1900’s. A very tricky centreman, he was a great stickhandler and goal scorer. In 1907, Condon played for the Halifax Crescents Hockey Team – the team that won the Nova Scotia Senior Championship by defeating the North Sydney Victoria’s.

In 1908, Condon and the Halifax Crescents went all the way to the Nova Scotia Senior Championship but lost the title to Amherst by a score of 3-2. In 1909 the Crescents, with the help of both Condon brothers, regained the Nova Scotia Senior Hockey Championship title by defeating the Halifax Wanderers with a score of 6-2. In 1910, Condon once again played for the Crescents, except this year the team lost their title to Amherst in a one-sided championship game that saw Amherst outscore Halifax 17-0. Jack Condon is an Original Nova Scotia Sport Hall of Fame Inductee.
