Ken Shea has won over 30 Maritime Snooker Championships. He has won provincial championships, finished second at the North American championship and has 12 perfect games of 147. He has also taken a world champion to the absolute limit.

Shea was playing Fred Davis, the six-time world champion and had him down 3-1. Davis came back to tie it at 3-3 and Shea lost a coin toss to shoot the black ball for the win and the match was over. Ken Shea was inducted into the Nova Scotia Sport Hall of Fame in 1998.
