Born July 31, 1941, North Sydney native, Paul “Jigger” Andrea turned professional with the Kitchener-Waterloo Beavers of the Eastern Professional Hockey League. He then moved on to a NHL career with the New York Rangers, Pittsburgh Penguins, and Buffalo Sabres scoring 31 goals and 49 assists in 150 games. He was also a member of the Cleveland Cavaliers of the World Hockey Association.
